Why we started Daisy Chain Apps
One developer, fun and simple games for every age, and a first app called Sudoku+.
A studio of one
Daisy Chain Apps is an iOS app studio run by a single developer, Mars. That is the point, not a limitation. Every game we release is designed, built and tested by the same person, so each one is small, considered and personal. We are not making apps to squeeze a profit out of your attention; we are making the kind of games we want on our own phones.
Games for everyone
Our aim is simple: fun games that people of all ages can enjoy. That means easy to pick up, calm to play and no clutter between you and the puzzle. A grandparent and a grandchild should be able to hand the same phone back and forth and both have a good time.
What the name and the logo mean
Our name comes from the daisy, and so does our logo. It has daisies in the middle and four pastel squares behind them. The pastels are there for the fun, carefree feel we want every game to have, and the design stays simple because it usually appears as a tiny profile picture. The green square belongs to Sudoku+, whose colours it shares. The other three are waiting for the games that come next.
Our first game: Sudoku+
Sudoku+ puts four kinds of Sudoku in one iPhone app: Classic, Killer, Butterfly and Mini. Each one has a daily puzzle, its own streak and a free pack of 50 puzzles. You can pencil in notes, undo a move and set your own mistake limit, and stats keep track of every variant.
